This is a list of several of our church ministries that our members join together to serve each other and serve the Lord. There are many different ways that you could be involved. We hope you will seed God’s leading and have the courage to follow his guidance when you feel prompted to get involved in one of our church ministries.
Our choir is made up of volunteer voices that lend their time and their talent to be a blessing to the congregation through uplifting songs of worship. Including two larger annual programs for Christmas and Easter.
The purpose of Sunday school is to offer students of all ages various Bible classes. Including nursery, children’s classes, teens and two adult classes.
We have a fully staffed nursery with multiple workers for every service. As an added measure of assurance and security, we have begun using a pager system to give parents more peace of mind during the service.
This long running ministry is a great way to instill excellence in your teenagers. We challenge the teens to strive for excellence in their daily Christian walk.
A program aimed at kids ages 6-12, Bible Club stands for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. It is a great way to teach your children more about God’s word.
You are invited! W.O.W. is for all ladies over 18 years of age. Babysitting is provided (please let us know you’re coming in advance and how many children you need cared for). Please call the church at (717) 561-2233 if you have any questions.
Goals of W.O.W.:
-Fellowship with Ladies of the Church
-Outreach to other Ladies needing Salvation or Christian Fellowship
-Spiritual Growth of the Ladies attending
Two of the purposes for the existence of the church are to evangelize the lost and edify the believers. “Visitation” is that ministry where our members go out from our church into the community in an effort to be a blessing to those we visit. There are a variety of calls that can be made, depending upon a person’s relationship to our church. For those who have visited us, we like to follow-up to get to know them better and to answer any questions they may have. We enjoy visiting our own church people too. Sometimes it is because they have been absent for a while and at other times we just want to stop by to encourage and enjoy Christian fellowship. We often attempt to make new contacts in the community to introduce people to the Gospel and to our church. Sometimes we visit folks who have recently moved into the area and other times we just go door-to-door.
